We are currently seeking an experienced Software Developer – Front End (Senior) for a 6-month contract opportunity with the City of Toronto.
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
📅 Contract Duration: 6 Months

🔹 Must-Have Experience:
✅ 10+ years of extensive experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA) using:
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• React, Backbone, Stencil.js (Web Components)
• REST API integration (JSON/XML)
✅ 10+ years of experience building digital products that meet accessibility standards and best practices:
• WCAG 2.x AA
• AODA
• WAI-ARIA
• Accessibility optimization across Web, iOS, and Android platforms
✅ 10+ years of experience implementing secure authentication and authorization:
• OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange)
• Authorization Code Flow in SPAs
• Modern application security best practices
⭐ Public Sector experience is considered an asset.
