🔹 Overview:
We are seeking a Senior APIM / CXI Engineer to support customer-facing integration initiatives within the CXI domain while also contributing to broader API platform efforts.
This role will split time between customer-driven integration work and Azure API Management (APIM) responsibilities, including potential involvement in the Gigawatt API service build-out.
The ideal candidate is hands-on with APIM and experienced in supporting customer-facing APIs and integrations, with the ability to operate across multiple workstreams.

🔹 Key Responsibilities 
Design, build, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
Implement API policies (security, throttling, transformation, routing)
Support API lifecycle: design, publish, versioning, and deprecation
Collaborate closely with the Lead Architect to enforce API standards and best practices
Work with backend teams to expose services as scalable, secure APIs
Troubleshoot API performance, reliability, and integration issues
Support CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployments
Contribute to API governance, documentation, and reusable patterns

🔹 Required Qualifications (Must-Have) 
Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
Experience with API security (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, policies)
Hands-on experience implementing APIM policies and transformations
Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
Ability to operate independently and support architecture direction
