🇨🇦 Hiring: Senior Full Stack Developer (AWS Serverless & Digital Health) – Toronto, ON
Are you a Senior Full Stack Engineer who wants your code to make a tangible impact on public health?
We are actively recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer for a critical Cancer Screening Project in Ontario. You will be designing and building the cloud-native, serverless APIs powering a brand-new Digital Correspondence solution—directly improving how vital healthcare notifications reach patients.
This is a high-impact, hybrid role based out of downtown Toronto.
⏳ Term: 6-month contract (with extension options)
📍 Location: Toronto, Ontario (Onsite up to 5 days/week, hybrid at Hiring Manager's discretion)

🛠️ The Tech Stack & Ecosystem:
Backend: AWS Serverless Architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Node.js)
Frontend: React or Angular (with a strong emphasis on clean UI/UX and AODA/accessibility compliance)
Health Tech Integration: HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and the HAPI library
Ontario Ecosystem: Experience with Ontario eReferral systems (Ocean, Novari) or Ontario Assets (Provider Registry, Hospital Report Manager) is highly preferred.
Bonus Points: Experience with AWS End User Messaging/Pinpoint, Amazon Bedrock (GenAI/RAG), or Amazon Comprehend Medical.

📝 What You’ll Do:
Lead the technical design and deployment of robust, full-stack serverless applications.
Develop RESTful APIs and FHIR resources to securely manage and transmit sensitive PHI/PII data.
Integrate front-end portals with automated cloud messaging workflows (SMS and email).
