Data Analyst

🚨 We’re Hiring: Data Analyst – Montreal, QC (Onsite/Hybrid)
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a global regulatory program focused on delivering data quality reporting for critical regulatory reporting. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and help drive alignment between governance, tooling, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with project managers, technology product owners, and data engineering teams to support regulatory data quality reporting initiatives
• Bridge communication gaps between policy, central tooling, governance teams, and delivery teams
• Work closely with development teams to support data governance tools, data quality integration, and issue tracking in JIRA
• Troubleshoot development roadblocks and support teams in achieving intended data outcomes
• Gain familiarity with Data Architecture & Data Management principles and the BCBS 239 regulatory framework
• Identify risks, manage dependencies, and resolve issues using Agile methodologies
• Partner with the Firmwide Data Office to enhance strategic tooling for Data Cataloging and Lineage
• Provide additional support across the program as required
Minimum Qualifications
✔ BE / B.Tech / MCA
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
✔ Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
✔ Knowledge of data governance concepts (cataloging, ownership, lineage, data quality)
✔ Experience working with global teams, preferably in the financial services industry
✔ Strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
✔ Highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
✔ Ability to understand technical solutions and work at an API and configuration level (non-coding role)
