📍 Toronto, ON – Hybrid (Hybrid – 3 days/week in-office preferred)

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in payments systems and API integrations to join a dynamic and collaborative technology team. This role will focus on delivering scalable solutions across payment platforms, including Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit, FX Wire systems, and MuleSoft API integrations.

Role Overview:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into clear, actionable system and functional specifications. You will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and enhancing technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, compliance, and improved user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications
Work on payment systems including Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit, and FX Wire implementations
Support MuleSoft API integrations, including field mapping and multi-system connectivity
Analyze and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and reduce system friction
Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business and compliance needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, product, and IT
Support solution delivery, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Conduct data analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity

Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analyst or similar role
Hands-on experience with Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit, FX Wire, and MuleSoft API
Strong understanding of payment systems and financial services technology
Experience with API integrations, data mapping, and system interoperability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in financial services, fintech, or payments/compliance technology
Knowledge of transaction data analysis and reconciliation processes
PMI-PBA or similar Business Analysis certification
Experience with end-to-end system integrations and upstream/downstream impact analysis
