AEM Developer

We’re hiring for a Senior AEM Developer in Toronto (Hybrid). This role is part of a large-scale digital transformation program within the banking domain, focusing on building and enhancing enterprise content management solutions.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Experience: 5–8 years

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java, and backend technologies
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP services
- Build reusable AEM components and templates for enterprise content platforms
- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate UI with backend services
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects
- Perform impact analysis and provide effort estimation for new requests
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices
- Coordinate with QE, ITS, and Release teams for end-to-end delivery

Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Java / Backend development experience
- RESTful APIs & SOAP services
- Web application development & component architecture
- Performance optimization & debugging
- Agile delivery experience

Nice to Have:
- Banking / Financial Services domain experience
- Experience with enterprise CMS implementations
- CI/CD exposure
- Strong understanding of frontend-backend integration
